Consider Bufalucca Sports Bar just up Highway 27 from Sebring if you’re looking for an eatery, and the mainstream restaurants a little further south are all busy.
Nothing fancy here, just well priced food and if you are inclined towards a cold beer along with your meal, well priced beer as well. A variety of wines and liquors are available as well.
Four of us settled into having dinner here on a Saturday, specifically because the chain restaurants further south along #27 were full, and we do not enjoy waiting for lengthy periods to have a meal.
The interior of Bufaluca is typical sports bar with TVs adorning every flat surface on the walls. Thankfully, their volume was quite low, so we could chat without having to yell over the sound, something we dislike intensely.
I’m not so sure that Bufaluca’s would be quiet later in the evening, but for an early dinner, it suited us perfectly.
Food orders included boneless chicken wings, a burger, and two of us had the 1/2 rack of ribs special. Service, including food delivery, was fast and friendly.
All reported their food to be quite good, one of us got an extra order of fries as they ordered fresh cut “chips” initially, and potato chips was what was delivered. I can say the ribs I had with the honey BBQ sauce were quite good. I should have had the full rack they were so good, in fact.
Bufaluca’s. Not haute cuisine, but perfectly adequate. And for the younger set, coming to this sports bar later in the evening will likely translate into a noisy, boisterous gathering, one that I would have enjoyed a few decades ago.
