One popular eating spot is Cody’s Roadhouse – Sebring Florida.
Cody’s is a very modern, very structured, dining establishment carefully crafted to emulate an old-time Florida Roadhouse.
Cody’s caters to all clients, from very young children through to the party set, and of course, offer specials to attract the Snowbirds flocking to the area each winter.
Our first impression was that Cody’s was a clone of Manny’s Chop House near Orlando, Florida. It seemed to be an identical environment, right down to the old-time decorations and attitude of the staff. Turns out that’s not the case, but you’d sure think so if you’d been to both restaurants.
The food at Cody’s Roadhouse was good, but not great. Typical road house fare.
Service was fast.
The prices are reasonable.
Yet one thing all of these places seem to have in common, including Cody’s Roadhouse, is that they, when getting full, are so noisy it is almost impossible to talk to your company across the table. We simply gave up trying to converse until we finished our meals and exited.
Not a bad restaurant, not bad value, some people-attracting specials, with reasonable food.
However if you are looking for a quiet and classy dining experience in Sebring Florida, nah, this one isn’t that. Other opinions are welcome, of course, should you care to comment.
